Design of the Phinella Primus system
The Phinella Primus Set consists of the following 4 main components + 3 options.
Main components:
- Activated carbon block filter: Pre-filtration of coarse contaminants, organic substances, and chlorine. This ensures optimal protection of the RO membranes (point 2.) and significantly extends their service life.
- Rotary vane pump: This particularly powerful pump ensures a consistently high flow rate of 2 L/min (with 9 bar pressure)! The pump is designed for continuous operation and does not overheat like ordinary diaphragm pumps.
- High-performance reverse osmosis membrane: Nothing but the purest water can pass through. EVERYTHING else is filtered out: PFAS, pesticides, drug residues, heavy metals, chlorine, fluoride, parasites, bacteria, viruses, limescale, nitrates, bad odors & tastes…
- Combination filter cartridge: Post-filter consisting of an activated carbon block filter with a capillary membrane. This filter stage prevents any germs from the tap from entering and colonizing the reverse osmosis system.
Options:
- Remineralisation: For improved taste and to optimize subsequent revitalization. Small amounts of specific minerals are introduced into the water through Sango marine coral or dolomitic rock. More details on remineralisation.
- Water vortexing: Physical water treatment for greater freshness and a finer taste, through micro-levitation.

Water, just the way you like it!
Depending on your taste and intended use, you can enrich your reverse osmosis water with no minerals at all or with selected natural minerals (Sango marine coral or dolomitic rock). With the appropriate installation, you can easily switch between these different options.
Reliability has good reasons
Focus on the best water, not unnecessary features: We deliberately avoid “smart” components! Firstly, because water doesn’t react well to electromagnetic radiation (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.), and secondly, because these are usually the first parts to break down and aren’t always easy to replace. Clever design, easy handling
To ensure the smooth operation of your reverse osmosis system, all components are logically and clearly labeled. This makes maintenance and filter changes easy and convenient. Up to 25 years warranty
All Phinella appliances come with a 5-year warranty. For every additional year that maintenance is performed by one of our authorized service technicians, the warranty is extended by another year! (Up to a maximum of 25 years.**)

Better safe than sorry
To ensure nothing can go wrong, the Phinella system is equipped with three safety features: Each unit comes standard with two leak sensors (one inside and one outside the unit). In the event of an uncontrolled water leak, the water supply is automatically shut off. The device also continuously monitors the conductivity of the reverse osmosis water. You will be notified of any deviations via an audible signal.
No waste
Environmental protection is not just lip service at Phinella, but a genuine company philosophy. This is also reflected in a permeate (filtered water) to concentrate (rinse water) ratio of 1:1. For every liter of filtered water, only 1 liter of wastewater is produced. This outstanding value also ensures a long membrane lifespan and thus contributes to environmental protection.
